Boardman police uncover stolen credit card operation

BOARDMAN, Ohio - A tip from a local motel leads Boardman police to a suspected stolen credit operation.

Police went to the Red Roof Inn after a report of suspicious activity in two of the rooms.

Police found credit card readers and gift cards inside the rooms. Investigators believe they were using stolen credit card information to buy gift cards from places like the local Walmart.

Police arrested Christopher Hollingsworth, Chauncey Peteet, Brittany Winton and Quintez Salter all of Detroit.

They face charges ranging from corrupt activity and telecommunications fraud topossessing criminal tools.
