Police arrest suspects in major burglary ring

MAHONING COUNTY, Ohio - Police in three counties say they've broken up a burglary ring that has hit 140 homes.

Four Stark County residents, Ronald Hashman, Shane Mazon, Amanda Wilhite and Sara Alton are charged with twelve counts of burglary in Mahoning County alone.

They allegedly hit secluded homes in Milton, Berlin, Canfield, Salem, and Green and Goshen Townships stealing guns, jewelry and cash.

Last July there were seven burglaries in just one day.

Police said the investigation is ongoing because more and more police departments are developing evidence on the suspects.

Investigators believe there is another ring working up and down Western Reserve.  Call police if you see anything suspicious.
