LAWRENCE COUNTY, Ohio- A woman is seriously injured after the car she was riding in hit a cow in Lawrence county.

Janet LaFever was taken to St. Elizabeth's hospital by helicoptor after the crash, which occurred on Route 168.

The driver of the car said the cow walked into the road at around 10 p.m. on Sunday and he was not able to stop in time.

LaFever's condition has not been released.
