UNITED STATES- Cost-cutting at post offices across the country could make the tax day rush a little more hectic for those filing at the last minute.
Most post offices, including the Youngstown main office, will close at normal hours.
In previous years, post offices have remained open for extended hours on April 15, but officials said this is no longer necessary because of electronic filing.
This year, the only two post offices with extended hours in Northern Ohio are the Cleveland main post office and the Akron main post office.
Extensions can be filed until midnight.
