WARREN, Ohio - Two warren brothers are accused of running a $22 million Ponzi scheme between the years of 2007 and 2008.
About 200 Canadian investors have filed a federal suit against Kevin Harris, Sr., Keelan Harris and a Toronto-Ontario woman.
According to our print partner, The Vindicator, the victims said they invested tens and even hundreds of thousands of dollars in the foreign currency trading program of Harris' company, Complete Development, on Parkman Road in Warren, on promises of returns of seven and 12 percent. The victims said they stopped receiving payments after eight months.
Court documents indicate that back in January a local federal court dismissed the suit filed by investors and ruled in favor of the Harris brothers.
The investors filed with the U.S. Court of Appeals in April. That case is pending.
