YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Youngstown State football coach Eric Wolford has added two more players to the roster.
Since spring drills ended, Wolford has brought in eight transfers. He's got more depth at wide receiver and special teams with the additions announced on Monday.
Wide receiver Lynell Payne is 6 foot 3 inches and 205 pounds. He is from the University of Cincinnati and has three years of eligibility remaining. Payne only caught one pass for eight yards with the Bearcats.
Special teams was also in the mix with the addition of kicker/punter Jake Smith. Smith is from Syracuse where he played in two games with the Orange. He has four years of legibility remaining.
