Greater Youngstown Italian Fest gets underway

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio- The Greater Youngstown Italian Festival kicks off Friday in downtown Youngstown.

Food vendors began operating in the daytime and special events will kick off during the late afternoon and evening hours.

The street festival will begin at 5 p.m., followed by the Miss Italian Youngstown Pageant at 7 p.m. and a performance by singer Amanda Beagle at 9 p.m.

All events are located in Central Square downtown.
