SHENANGO TOWNSHIP, Pennsylvania- Officials in Lawrence county were called out on Saturday night to deal with flooding throughout Shenango township after heavy rains tore through the area.
Shenango police marked parts of Route 65 with flares to warn passing motorists of the pools of water, but did not need to close down the roadway.
The entrance of the Sylvan Heights golf course was blocked by puddles of water across from the Lawrence Village Plaza.
Firefighters also responded to several calls reporting downed trees in the area.
