NEW SPRINGFIELD, Ohio - A two car crash claims the life of a New Springfield man.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol says the accident happened shortly after 2:00 a.m. Sunday morning on Columbiana Road, just south Kibler Road.
Troopers say 22-year-old Matthew Timmons was killed when his car crossed the center line and crashed head-on into another vehicle, then rolled and landed in a ditch.
The other driver was hospitalized with minor injuries. The accident is still under investigation.
