YOUGNSTOWN, Ohio - The Youngstown Metropolitan Housing Authority is partnering with the United Way to help meet needs in the community.
Mahoning counties largest landlord gave 25-thousand dollars to the United Way.
"This is a win, win for us. We realize times are tough in the Valley with a lot of non-profit organizations. We were fortunate to capture a lot of stimulus money, so we think we need to give back," said Clifford Scott, Executive Director of the Youngstown Metropolitan Housing Authority.
The president of United Way says many of YMHA's residents will benefit by programs the agency funds such as neighborhood ministires at Kirwin Homes and the VITA program that provides free tax services.
