Woman files Ohio lawsuit over LeBron James pendant

MEDINA, Ohio (AP) - A woman says in an Ohio lawsuit that she was threatened and intimidated into giving a LeBron James jersey pendant worth about $10,000 to the mother of one of James' business partners.

Maverick Carter is the CEO of James' marketing company and says the diamond-encrusted pendant was stolen from him three years ago.  It depicts the jersey James' wore with the Cleveland Cavaliers before he went to the Miami Heat.

Vaneisha Robinson claims in the lawsuit filed last month in Medina County that Carter's mother lured her to her home, saying she wanted to buy the pendant and that James would be there.

Robinson says she was intimidated by a group of people and turned the pendant over out of fear for her safety.

Robinson says the pendant was in a box of items she bought for $5 at a garage sale about five years ago.
