Canfield crime, one man arrested for rash of burglaries

CANFIELD, Ohio - The Mahoning Sheriff's Department says the arrest of one man may solve a rash of burglaries in Canfield and crimes in neighboring townships.

Detective Patrick Mondora tells 21 News, Jack Bruno, Junior, is charged in connection with a burglary off Linden Place in Canfield Township.

The Sheriff's Department and the Mahoning Valley Law Enforcement Task Force seized items from his Arlene Avenue residence in Boardman.

Bruno who is also known as Sonny, pleaded not guilty to a count of burglary and one count of receiving stolen property.

We're told items stolen include power tools, computer games, and jewelry

Victims will have an opportunity on Thursday to identify their belongings.

Dective Patrick Mondora says people should use a dead bolt to make it more difficult for thieves to burglarize their home.
