YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio- About 50 jobs are going away at Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Youngstown.

The company is eliminating part of its provider-inquiry division, at its location at 2405 Market Street.

An Anthem spokesperson says declining demand for the service provided by those workers mandated the layoffs.

The layoffs are expected to begin in mid-April.
