COLUMBUS, Ohio - Ohio Republicans have criticized Democrats for failing to submit even one amendment to Senate Bill 5 before Friday's deadline.
Senate minority leader Capri Cafaro fired back in a letter to senate president Tom Niehaus accusing Republicans of dictating terms of a proposal she calls ill-conceived.
She says the bill was drafted in secret and withheld from minority senate members. Senator Cafaro says that until Republicans start a new discussion on Senate Bill 5, Democrats will remain adamantly opposed.
