YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Bond is set at one million dollars for one of two men charged in connection with a deadly, botched robbery at Galaxy Seafood in Youngstown.
Suspected get-away driver, Nathaniel Dumas is charged with murder, even though it was a city police officer who fatally shot Warren Wright.
According to police, Wright helped plan the robbery with Dumas that included using a gun.
Youngstown Police Chief Jimmy Hughes says that when an individual engages in an armed robbery and a life is taken from that involvement, whether directly or indirectly, the law allows for charges to be filed against the individuals involved.
James Edward Thomas is jailed on a half million dollars bond. He's charged with aggravated robbery in the case. An internal affairs investigation has ruled the officer's shooting was justified.
