NEW CASTLE, Pennsylvania - Two people in New Castle are behind bars, both accused of robbing a local drug store.
Last month police say Richard Warnick and Toni Eckles planned a robbery at a CVS Pharmacy on East Washington Street in New Castle.
Surveillance video shows Warnick walked into the store with a knife and demanded the pharmacist give him all of his Roxycodons. The pharmacist gave Warnick bottles containing more than 4,000 pills. Warnick then fled on foot.
Acting on leads, authorities served a search warrant for a home in New Castle Friday morning where they found and arrested Warnick and Toni Eckles, who allegedly helped plan the robbery.
Warnick, who plead guilty, is facing multiple charges including three counts of robbery and theft. Eckles is charged with criminal conspiracy to commit robbery and theft.
