
WARREN, Ohio- Twenty six years ago today the valley was reeling, in the wake of a devastating tornado.
The class five twister ripped through the Valley leaving a path of death and destruction in its wake. Hardest hit were Newton Falls, Niles, Hubbard and Wheatland.
Twelve people died in Trumbull county, eight lost their lives in Mercer county. More than 500 others were injured.
Property damage was estimated at 140 million dollars.
