Yemma sworn in as new Mahoning county treasurer

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio- Wednesday a new Mahoning County Treasurer officially took office.

The former Chief Deputy Treasurer Dan Yemma was sworn into office Wednesday by Struthers Judge James Lanzo in the county courthouse.

Yemma's been on the job as County Treasurer since he was elected earlier this month by the County Democratic Party

Yemma is serving the unexpired term vacated by Lisa Antonini, who left office last month after she was charged with fraud stemming from unreported contributions made to her political campaign.

She pleaded guilty to those charges earlier this month.
