YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – It is an accident that looked fare worse than it really was.
An accident involving a car and a motorcycle occurred around 4:00 p.m. Thursday afternoon on Market Street in Youngstown.
Witnesses say the driver of the car turned in front of the motorcycle. "They clipped each other. Saw him flying. Got to this pole before he lost balance and spilled out right here. Debris is everywhere. I had to stop on my bike to make sure the guy was ok," said witness James Omeara.
The driver of the motorcycle was taken to the hospital with what appeared to be a broken leg.
Police say the driver of the car will be cited for the accident, while the motorcycle driver will be cited for not having a proper motorcycle license.
