Greenville man in jail after allegedly torturing ex-girlfriend

GREENVILLE, Pennsylvania - A Mercer County man accused of torturing his ex-girlfriend is in jail on $100,000 bond.

A woman told Greenville police that she escaped from a South Mercer Street home after being beaten, choked and tied to a bed with an extension cord for 11 hours.

The woman told police that Jed Moyer, 36, was angry because she left him for another man.

Moyer faces seven charges including kidnapping, assault, false imprisonment and making terroristic threats.
