Rash of car break ins in Canfield Township

CANFIELD TOWNSHIP, Ohio - The Mahoning County Sheriff's Department is looking for those responsible in a rash of car-break-ins in Canfield Township.

Last week a dozen cars were broken into in the area of Revere Road.

Investigators say most cars were not locked.

The thieves mostly stole cash. Investigators believe it is a few young people stealing money for drugs.
