Attorney wants trial of woman charged with murdering her child moved out of Columbiana County

SALEM, Ohio - The attorney for a Salem woman, who is charged with murdering her own child, wants her trial moved out of Columbiana County.

Miranda Todd is scheduled to go on trial next month on charges of murder, child endangering and involuntary manslaughter.

Medical investigators say Todd's seven-month-old son had skull and rib fractures when he died last year.

Todd's attorney says there has been too much publicity surrounding the case to seat an impartial jury.
