UPDATE: One dead, one wounded in south side bar shooting

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - A 22-year-old man is dead and a 33-year-old woman has been wounded after a shooting on the city's south side early Friday morning.

According to police, Jerome Miller was found dead in the parking lot of local bar The Coconut Grove, after sustaining a gunshot wound to the head.

Another victim, Tamara Sharpe was shot in the arm and transported to St. Elizabeth's Hospital where she is recovering.

According to a police report, Sharpe told police that she and a witness, Chiana Sharpe, went outside of the bar to smoke a cigarette when they heard three shots. Before the two could react, Tamara was hit and rushed back into the bar.
