Trumbull County puts forms online to alleviate issues overwhelming the courts

WARREN, Ohio – Trumbull County has an easier way for its residents to file legal forms in cases of dissolution, divorce and even child support and custody modification cases.

Trumbull County's Family Court and Community Legal Aid are offering free online forms to help alleviate issues overwhelming the family court.

"It's a good thing for us because the forms will be consistent. People will have the information that we know that we need," said Judge Pamela Rintala, Trumbull County Family Court.

"Legal Aid's primary function is to provide people with access to justice; those who typically don't have the money many times to hire an attorney," said John Petit, Managing Attorney for Legal Aid.

The online forms apply primarily in cases where there are few assets.
