AKRON, Ohio - The father of an Akron man missing since November 13th says his son interviewed for a Craigslist help wanted ad that police say actually was a deadly robbery scheme.
The father says his son, Timothy Kern, was promised $300 a week, a trailer and a truck for a farm job near Caldwell in Noble County Ohio.
He left for the job and never returned home.
One man, who also replied to the bogus ad, was found dead in Noble County last week. Another said he escaped after being shot.
Two people have been arrested in the case.
