U.S. Marshals on the hunt for female fugitive of 13 years

BOARDMAN, Ohio - The U.S. Marshal's Northern Ohio Fugitive Task Force says a cash reward is available if you have information leading to the arrest of Anne Raneri. The Warren woman has been wanted by police for the last 13 years.

Authorities say Raneri helped a Warren biker gang conceal their true identities back in the 80s and 90s by providing them with doctored paperwork that was used to help obtain fake IDs from the bureau of motor vehicles.

Boardman Police Sergeant Glen Riddle, who also works as a member of the U.S. Marshal's Northern Ohio Fugitive Task Force, tells 21 News, "We keep getting reports that she's in the area. There was a sighting in Columbiana. We're just concerned mostly with whom she's making the IDs for, because obviously an adult that needs a fake ID needs it for a reason. Either they're trying to hide from something or they're out committing some type of crime that they don't want their true identity to be known."

Originally from Warren, the 48-year-old Raneri has been wanted for tampering with records since July of 1998.

Raneri is wanted on at least 10 arrest warrants now and even though she's been arrested over the years on a laundry list of other crimes, she was out of jail before fingerprints could reveal her true identity.

Sergeant Riddle tells 21 News, "And she basically has a series of identities that she switches between and has actually been arrested several times under those aliases. And then when she's released from jail we actually find out later that she was actually in custody and released."

Raneri has a number of tattoos and is known to change her hair color and hair style as well as her name.

If you have any information on the whereabouts of Anne Raneri call the U.S. Marshals at 1-866-4-WANTED. You could receive a cash reward if you provide information that leads to Raneri's arrest.
