State Route 172 reopens after Tuesday morning accident

COLUMBIANA COUNTY, Ohio - Authorities have reopened State Route 172 in Columbiana County after an accident shut down a portion of the road near Guilford Lake on Tuesday morning.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol tells 21 News that a truck carrying propane overturned between State Route Nine and Depot Road.

That part of the road was shut down until another truck could offload the propane.

The driver was taken by helicopter to St. Elizabeth Medical Center. There's no word on his name or condition.
