Mahoning Valley donuts headed to the Super Bowl

CANFIELD, Ohio - A popular sweet treat from the Mahoning Valley will be filling the stomachs of one team in the Super Bowl this weekend.

White House Fruit Farm will be sending its blueberry donuts to the New York Giants.

Giants player and Ohio State graduate Jim Cordle has been getting the donuts for the team when he visits his wife's family in the Valley.  So his mother-in law placed an order for the whole team for the Super Bowl.

"We thought what a great story.  Here is a product from little old Canfield, Ohio traveling all the way to Indianapolis to the Super Bowl," said Debbie Pifer of White House Fruit Farm.

Pifer says they are hoping to have some Facebook postings of the team eating their now relatively famous donuts.
