VERNON TOWNSHIP, Ohio - Fire crews from seven northern Trumbull County communities battle a late Sunday afternoon house fire near the border of Pennsylvania.
It happened around 4:30 p.m. at 8021 Jewell-Greenville Road in Vernon Township.
The woman who owned the home made it out safely.
The house is being ruled a total loss.
The Burghill-Vernon Fire Department is investigating the cause of the blaze along with the State Fire Marshal.
