POLAND TOWNSHIP - Police believe an impaired driver is to blame for a crash in Poland Township on Tuesday afternoon.
Shortly after 6:00 p.m., police say a red Pontiac Vibe was going too fast around a turn, over-corrected and struck a utility pole on North Lima Road.
The driver and passenger had minor injuries, and the driver was transported to St. Elizabeth Medical Center.
Police believe the driver was impaired by alcohol, but no charges are filed at this time.
