YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - A Youngstown woman is in jail after police say she intentionally drove into a woman's car and ended up hitting a police cruiser as well.
According to police, Charlotte Moreland, 41, drove into another woman's car while two Youngstown police officers were there taking an unrelated theft report. Moreland almost hit the woman and two officers but they got out of the way in time. Moreland then kept going and her car swerved and struck a police car with it's headlights on.
Police say they had to chase Moreland's gold Pontiac Bonneville and force her to stop at gunpoint. According to police, Moreland said the women "jumped them in the club," referring to the Joker's Wrath Motorcycle club where the incident happened Sunday morning.
A check on Moreland revealed she did not have a license and was under 12-point suspension.
Police arrested Moreland and she is charged with three counts of felonious assault and a citation for reckless operation of a motor vehicle.
