WARREN, Ohio - A real estate company out of Pennsylvania appears to be the winning bidder of the RG Steel plant in Warren.
C.J. Betters Enterprises out of Monaca, Pennsylvania appears to be the successful bidders with a bid of $17 million with a $1 million credit provided they hold the plant for nine months and try to develop a plan to keep it open.
21 WFMJ spoke with C.J. Betters Enterprises company owner Chuck Betters who says within two weeks he's hoping the court will approve the acquisition. Betters tells 21 WFMJ that as soon as that's approved, they will start to form a plan to restart the plant.
