Park and ride lot in Austintown getting an upgrade

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio - Drivers who use a park and ride lot in Austintown will have to relocate for about a month due to construction.

Starting this Thursday, the park and ride lot at the Interstate 80 and Route 46 interchange will be closed for upgrades.

The construction is expected to last through late September.

Crews will tear up the existing surface and double the size of the parking lot.
