Crash on the Ohio Turnpike in Mahoning County

SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP, Ohio – The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a crash on the Ohio Turnpike in Mahoning County.

Police tell 21 News that a pick-up truck was traveling west bound in Springfield Township near the Interstate 680 interchange when it flipped over into the median just after 7:00 p.m. Tuesday.

The driver was taken to a nearby hospital.

OSP is still trying to figure out what led to the accident and has not released any other information at this time.
