Cash Explosion "Road to Riches" set for the Eastwood Mall

NILES, Ohio - Ohioans watch the winning every Saturday night on Cash Explosion on 21 WFMJ, and now the Ohio Lottery's original game show is taking the winning on the road. Cash Explosion will be taping two episodes of the popular lottery game show on Saturday September 22, 2012 at Eastwood Mall in Niles.

The day-long event will start at 10:00 AM with the Cash Explosion promotional games. There will be $5,000 in cash prizes, $1,000 in mall gift cards and Cash Explosion and Ohio Lottery merchandise giveaways. Visitors can also meet the Cash Explosion co-hosts Sharon Bicknell, Cherie McClain and David McCreary as well Leslie Barrett and Jess Briganti from 21 News.

The show tapings will begin at 2pm and 4pm at the center court of the Eastwood mall. General seating will be available on a first come first served basis.

The road show will also mark the kickoff of Cash Explosion's 3rd annual "Facing Hunger" campaign in which audience members donate non-perishable food items when they attend a taping of the show. Food will be collected at the main mall entrance, and all of the items collected on September 22 will go to the Second Harvest Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley. Audience members who donate food items will get extra chances to win prizes during the show tapings. Over the last two years, members of our studio audiences helped contribute more than two tons of food.

Cash Explosion is the Ohio Lottery's original game show celebrating 25 years on the air.
