Police say an Austintown man and a Cleveland woman face prostitution and other charges after an arranged meeting for paid sex ended with a robbery.
Investigators say that Todd Higgins, 18, had been talking to Priscilla Scott, 30, for two weeks on Facebook and through text messages.
Police say that on Tuesday, Scott agreed to meet with Higgins to engage in sexual activity for hire at his home on Argonne Drive.
Higgins tells police that when he met the woman on the back porch of his house, Scott allegedly pulled out a handgun and three men ran up and stole $170 from Higgins pockets.
Higgins told police all four suspects fled in a white Dodge vehicle.
However, Higgins says he was able to grab her wallet out of Scott's purse, which had identification inside. Police tracked Scott's cell phone to the area of Jefferson Street in Youngstown, where officers stopped a car and arrested the woman.
Investigators recovered drug paraphernalia inside the car. Scott was booked on charges of prostitution, criminal tools, drug paraphernalia and drug abuse instruments.
After taking Scott into custody, police went back to Higgins' residence and placed him under arrest. Higgins was booked on charges of falsification, prostitution and robbery. Both were booked into the Mahoning County Justice Center.
