One of Cedar Point amusement park's attractions that has been thrilling riders for more than 40 years is taking its last few spins this summer.
Park operators have announced that the Witches' Wheel will be shut down at the end of the season in order to make room for future park expansion.
Cedar Point isn't saying what will take its place near the Magnum XL-200.
It's estimated that more than 24-million people have waited in line to ride on the Witches' Wheel since it opened in 1977.
The last day of operation will be Labor Day, September 3.
