A drug raid at an East Liverpool home on Thursday came at an inconvenient time for one of the residents.
One of the people living at 321 Garfield Street said they were sitting on the toilet smoking marijuana when police and members of the Columbiana County Drug Task force came calling.
According to police, the resident tried to warn others in the home by yelling “SWAT”, adding that they were removed from the bathroom quickly without being “allowed to wipe”.
Task Force officials say they recovered more than ten grams of suspected crack cocaine, 24 grams of cocaine, pills packaged for sale, and $2,700.
Police charged 31-year-old Kylee Davis and 33-year-old Joseph Davis with child endangering and obstructing justice.
More charges could follow once the suspected drugs are tested.
