Church moving from Eastwood Mall to former McMenamy's building

A former Niles night spot once known for drinking, dancing and loud music will become a place of worship.

A spokesperson for Grace Fellowship Church tells 21 News that they have purchased the former McMenamy's Restaurant and Banquet Center on Route 422.

The church plans to move from its current location in the former Kohl's department store building in the Eastwood Mall Complex.

The last service at the current location will be on Easter Sunday. Services will be then be conducted at the LaBrae Schools complex until renovations can be completed at the McMenany's building. The restaurant closed two years ago

As for the vacant space left by the church at the Eastwood Mall, Cafaro Company spokesman says it, along with the former Kmart store will be demolished to make space for a new Meijer's store which is expected to open in about two years.
