Warren police say they had to break the window to get a chase suspect with suspected heroin out of the car.

Marquise Jordan, 25, was arrested after the chase started Tuesday just before 7 pm.

Police say they were patrolling along Youngstown Road when they say Jordan made a lane change without using a turning signal, almost causing an accident.

The officers turned on their lights and tried to pull Jordan over.

Police say Jordan did not stop, and during the pursuit, began throwing plastic baggies out of the window, according to a report.

The suspect ended up stopping at Pit Stop on Youngstown Road.

According to the report, police had to break the driver side window since the doors were locked and Jordan dove to the passenger seat.

Once the suspect was in custody, police say they found a small plastic bag of suspected heroin and $1,119 in cash on Jordan.

They said the bags that Jordan had thrown out the window were ripped and most of them did not have any suspected narcotics.

Jordan was booked on a charge of failure to comply.
