BEAVER TWP., Ohio - Officials say alcohol and speed may be a factor in a one-vehicle rollover crash in Beaver Township that left one person dead.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol identified the victim as 28-year-old Mohammad Musleh of Youngstown. Officials say he was not wearing his seat belt and was ejected from the car.

He was one of three other passengers in the Ford Mustang that crashed on State Route 164 just before 2:30 am.

Troopers say 30-year-old John Wardle of Poland was driving when he overtook another vehicle and lost control.

Lt. Brad Bucey said the convertible went off the road and rolled multiple times.

The other passengers in the car were not hurt.

Bucey said speed might have played a factor and, according to a release from the Ohio State Highway Patrol, alcohol is suspected and charges are pending.

South Avenue near Western Reserve Road was closed as officials worked to clear the scene.

It has since been re-opened.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is handling the investigation.
