If you were on Courthouse Square in Warren on Tuesday, you might be wondering why there where teal bows around the area.

Members of the city's Junior Women's League put them up to bring awareness to ovarian cancer.

They decided Courthouse Square would be the perfect place because it's a central location where everyone can see them.

"I was putting some up along Park Avenue, and a guy asked me who's wedding are you putting bows up for, and I said it's not a wedding it's for Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month, and he said praise God somebody is doing something," said Mary Lou Jarrett, the President of the Junior Women's League. "If we just touch one person, then we've accomplished something."

Jarrett continued saying that several of the ladies within their club have been impacted by ovarian cancer, and the group does anything they can to help support local causes.
