Suspect charged after swiping tall 'Natty Daddy' beer from Grove City Sheetz

A Grove City man is facing charges after taking a beer from his local Sheetz gas station.

Police said 34-year-old Stephen Benning went into the Sheetz on West Main Street just before 9 p.m. Wednesday. 

He allegedly grabbed a 25 oz. can of "Natty Daddy" beer off the shelf, hid it on himself, and then put it in his bag, according to police.

They said he walked out of the store without paying for the item. 

The beer stolen is worth $1.29.
