A memorial at the Ohio Statehouse is honoring all the victims who were lost during the September 11 terrorist attacks.

On the west lawn of the statehouse, there are 2,977 flags to represent the victims.

When seen from above, the design represents the World Trade Center towers, a space in the shape of the Pentagon and an open strip representing the field in Pennsylvania where United Airlines Flight 93 crashed.

It will be open to the public from now until noon on Friday.
