Deadly Ohio plane crash under investigation
The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating after a cargo plane crash in Lucas County leaves both crew members dead.
Troopers say both those people were pronounced dead at the scene. No injuries on the ground were reported.
Troopers found the plane crashed at a trucking business near Interstate 80 close to the Toledo Express Airport just before 3:00 a.m.
The plane, a Convair CV-440, was owned by Barker Aeromotive, Inc., and was carrying automotive parts.
The deceased is 72-year-old Douglas R. Taylor and 69-year-old Donald C. Peterson Sr., both of Laredo, Texas.
The National Transportation Safety Board is assisting with the investigation.
