A special tribute will be paid to the military during a high school football game in the Valley Friday night.
The game between Warren Harding and Austintown Fitch will be a "Military Appreciation Game."
In honor of the festivities, military personnel, current, and past with proper military identification, will receive free admission and be recognized at the game.
In honor of the game, Harding's team will be wearing camouflage jerseys sponsored by the Ohio National Guard. The team spent a day with National Guard officers at Camp Garfield focusing on team building this past summer.
The game is also going to be the featured Air Force "Battle for the Bell Game" sponsored by the 311th Recruiting Squadron/ Bravo Flight, courtesy of Staff Sgt. Brandon Poturica.
Air Force representatives will be at the game at Warren's Mollenkopf Stadium interacting with students and to present the winning team with the Bell Trophy.
