A third person has stepped forward with allegations against a former St. Joseph Warren Hospital employee already accused of sexually assaulting elderly patients.
News of the third alleged victim came to light on Friday at 34-year-old Michael Brown Jr. appeared in Trumbull County Court to answer 11 sexual assault charges, including rape.
The name of the victim has not been released, nor the specifics of the allegations being made by that third person.
The Trumbull County Prosecutor is asking anyone else who may have been violated by Brown to come forward.
Bond was set at $500,000 for Brown, who faces two charges of rape, four charges of attempted rape, two charges of gross sexual imposition, one charge of sexual battery, one charge of attempted sexual assault and one charge of voyeurism.
He is charged with attempted sexual assault and voyeurism as a result of an alleged incident on February 16 with a first patient who was born in 1960.
According to the indictment, he is charged with attempted sexual assault because he allegedly engaged in conduct that would result in sexual battery if successful and engaged in that sexual conduct with a person who is a patient in a hospital that he had supervisory or disciplinary authority over while he was working as a patient transporter at St. Joseph's Hospital.
The indictment also charges him with voyeurism on the grounds of Brown Jr., allegedly did commit trespass or invade the patient's privacy in order to videotape, film, photograph, or otherwise record her for the purpose of sexually arousing or gratifying himself.
Brown Jr., is accused of transporting that patient to a vacant room and exposing himself, repeatedly propositioning her for sex and untying her gown to take a picture of her exposed breasts, according to the indictment.
He faces two charges of rape, four charges of attempted rape, two charges of gross sexual imposition and one charge of sexual battery from another incident with a second patient on February 18.
According to the indictment, on this occasion, Brown Jr. transported an 88-year-old patient into an elevator and is accused of sexually assaulting her and exposing himself.
He faces multiple charges of rape, gross sexual imposition and attempted rape from this incident due to the patient's advanced age, his knowledge of her advanced age, her believed inability to resist his advances as a result of her age and the nature of the alleged crime.
Both patients reported these incidents, and hospital police and Warren police were notified.
