The Ohio State Highway Patrol confirms two people are dead following a two-vehicle accident this morning in Milton township.

According to a release from OSP, the crash happened at 8:42 a.m. when a vehicle was heading south bound on St. Rt. 534 and went left of center before striking the other vehicle head on.

OSP said the driver and passenger of the vehicle hit, Howard W. Mounts, 68 and Bradley J. Ronci, 34 of Youngstown, were killed.

North Pricetown Road was closed earlier between Mahoning and Trumbull County Line and Creed Road for the investigation of the accident, but is now open according to dispatchers.

The accident is still under investigation by OSP.
