The Youngstown Air Reserve Station provided a spouse flight over Niagara Falls last Friday.

The spouse flights offer first-hand experience to spouses and show them what it is like to fly in a military aircraft.

While the military personnel is in the air or at the base, their spouses play an important role, supporting them during training and deployment.

Over 50 spouses took part in the spouse flights that ran in conjunction with Family Day weekend.

During the flight, passengers were given the opportunity to unbuckle their seat belts and walk around the aircraft.

The passengers were able to take pictures and explore the cargo area and flight decks.

After moving around the aircraft, passengers went back to their seats, and flight crews lowered the ramp of the aircraft for them to have a close look at Niagara Falls.
