Police say they'll have special traffic control measures in place for fans leaving Friday night's football game between the Boardman Spartans and rival Austintown Fitch Falcons.

A posting on the township police department's Facebook page says drivers leaving Glenwood Junior High onto Glenwood Avenue will only be permitted to make a right turn heading North.

Those exiting the High School drive onto Glenwood will be permitted to make a right-hand turn heading North from the right lane or a left turn heading South from the left lane.

Officers will be stationed at both locations directing traffic shortly after the game ends.

Police say drivers using the Market Street exit should obey the traffic signal at Market Street and Nisonger Road.

Officers will also be around the stadium and parking areas as the game wraps up.

Police are asking people to be patient.
